I so love browsing for the beautiful, unique and creative. Whether it is something I have created or something another has created, love is in the eye of the beholder.
The beautiful new gold Arteriors has introduced, the nailhead trim of a buffet, the circle representing art, natures green or the stunning chandelier, I am happy to browse and fall in love.
I love beautiful bedrooms. So many times this is the forgotten room ..the  Bedroom. Should you not make sure this room represents a sanctuary at the end of the day. We decorate our kids rooms, the guest room and forget about “our” room.  Paint the room a shade you and your husband, or just you, will love for a long time. Carefully select the at and the accessories. The lighting a bedside should be dimple for romance or a late night talk. Flowers added t
o the night table is a nice touch.White bedding offers you the flexibility of adding color where you wish. If you are fortunate enough add a seating area so you can get away when you feel like quiet.
White bedding offers flexibility as does natural bedding. Whether you live a spread, comforter or duvet make sure it is one you will enjoy and spend a few dollars getting what you want.
Make sure the master bedroom is clutter free…there is nothing more unsettling than a bedroom that speak of havoc and dis organization. Make the bed. fluff the pillows so that when you come home your bedroom will say “welcome back”.
This bedroom is from a redesign project in 2013. Â The client wished to have an updated look in their historic home. We created the night tables from a bookcase bed, silver leafing the wood and adding marble tops. The lamps were from TJ Maxx, some of the pillows from their old bedding. I ordered the luxurious bedding from one of my suppliers. The mirrors were added behind the lamps. This came out beautifully and not for a “ton” of money. Redesign, repurpose, revamp….revise. Their bedroom was luxurious, romantic, comfortable and totally updated.

I want you to buy new bedding. I cannot remember how many times I have said this. It seems one of the most important rooms in the house keeps getting neglected. This is where you go to relax. Should this room be messy, mismatched and cluttered? NO, absolutely not.

It really doesn’t take much to have a wonderful retreat in the master suite. There are fabulous bedding sets for under $100 that will create the foundation for the remainder of the room.
Tell me why do you have such small lamps? Â Get table lamps that will enhance the space. Add window treatments….and please make sure they go from the ceiling to the floor!!
The bedrooms in your house should show beautifully, as well as they baths!!! These rooms need to look like they came out of a catalog. Not expensive, they just need to look like “$$”
If you want to live in your home….take great pride in the appearance. Â It doesn’t take much time nor much money to have beautiful rooms.
Albums to clocks, scary ghost, beautiful paper flowers, incredible bedding, wonderful clothes. There was so much to see at the Style and Junk Show this past weekend at the Milky Way Farm. This was my first time there and I was amazed at what these nifty crafters were selling. There was everything in the world made from recycled items. 
This brass lantern painted a beautiful soft white, add some sparkle and a few bows…wonderful! A shade made from linen with such flare. How great it would be in a soft, feminine room or guest bedroom! Allfo the seams were on the outside, and the ruffles were unhemmed.
It was great….I enjoyed every minute. While most of the items at the show were not my style, they may be yours…creativity was in abundance. Bedding from linen is one of my favorites and this was truly a treat for my eyes.
Smoky grey, white and taupe..such softness you cannot imagine. Pair this with a pair of the lampshades and you will have a room to die for!!!
I am always on the outlook for the unusual, the beautiful, and the creative. I was not disappointed this time at all.
Mirrors are a very important part of our decor and should reflect the beauty we wish for it to.

Art it’s For Color
Incredibly simple and elegant. I love the simple lines, the mono chromatic scheme. To add a bit of punch you could add pillows in most any color. This look would not be expensive and would be fabulous in a guest bedroom.
